CITY OF ABERDEEN Emergency Meeting Saturday, April 11, 2026 A) CALL TO ORDER The Mayor called the emergency meeting to order at 8:28 a.m. in the second floor administrative conference room. B) ROLL CALL Present: Mayor Patrick McGrady Council President Adam Hiob Councilman William Montgomery, III Councilwoman Tandra Ridgley Councilman Darin Wassum C) CLOSED MEETING A motion was made by Mayor McGrady and seconded by Council President Hiob to close the meeting pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Statutory Authority Md. Code Annotated, General Provisions Article Subsection 3-305(b): (1): to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals. The topic was personnel matters and the reason for closed-session discussion of the topic was to protect the Council deliberative process. The motion carried by a vote of 4 – yes; 0 – no. Ayes: Council President Hiob, Councilman Montgomery, Councilwoman Ridgley, Councilman Wassum Nays: None D) BUSINESS TOPICS - None E) ADJOURNMENT The closed meeting was reopened at 10:11 a.m. and being no further business, the emergency meeting was adjourned at 10:11 a.m.
