A) CALL TO ORDER
Mayor McGrady called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
B) ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Patrick McGrady
Council President Adam Hiob
Councilman Timothy Lindecamp
Councilman William Montgomery, III
Councilwoman Tandra Ridgley
Also Present: Phyllis Grover, Director of Planning & Community Development; Henry
Trabert, Chief of Police; Opiribo Jack, Director of Finance; Monica Correll,
City Clerk
C) OPENING PRAYER
The opening prayer was given by Elder John Landbeck, Jr., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints.
D) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Timothy Lindecamp.
E) COMMENTS OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
The Mayor and Council congratulated the candidates and looked forward to working together.
They thanked outgoing Councilman Timothy Lindecamp for his service and wished him well in
his future endeavors.
F) FAREWELL PRESENTATION FOR COUNCILMAN TIMOTHY LINDECAMP
The Mayor and Council presented a crystal keepsake to Councilman Lindecamp in observance of
his service to the City of Aberdeen as Councilman from 2015 to 2025. Councilman Lindecamp
thanked the citizens and remarked that collectively, a lot had been accomplished in the last ten
years. He looked forward to still being a part of the City.

G) OATH OF OFFICE
G.1 Michelle L. Karczeski, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Harford County (Not present.)
(Deputy Clerk Kim Wagner attended.)
Kim Wagner, Harford County Chief Deputy Clerk of the Circuit Court, administered the oath of
office for Council to William H. Montgomery, III and Darin M. Wassum. Both members would
serve a term of four years.
H) COMMENTS OF THE NEWLY ELECTED
Councilman Wassum expressed his commitment to City and citizens and thanked his wife,
family, and friends for their support. He said he was grateful and humbled to take on the role and
looked forward to Aberdeen's best days ahead.
Councilman Montgomery said he was filled with gratitude and humility and thanked his wife and
family for their support. He thanked the candidates and those who helped him during his
campaign. He looked forward to moving the City forward.
I) COUNCIL PRESIDENT SELECTION
A motion was made by Councilwoman Ridgley and seconded by Councilman Wassum to
nominate Adam Hiob as Council President. The motion carried by a vote of 4 – yes; 0 – no.
Ayes: Council President Hiob, Councilman Montgomery, Councilwoman Ridgley,
Councilman Wassum
Nays: None
Council President Hiob thanked his Council colleagues and looked forward to the work ahead of
them. He asked the Council to look over the Development Code work and informed them of
the upcoming Council liaison appointments.
J) ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Mayor made the following announcements:
City Hall Closed Thursday & Friday, November 27 and 28 for Thanksgiving.
Christmas Home Decorating Contest, Entries Due by Monday, December 1.
Grand Opening for the Main Street Improvements, Watchtower Brewing Company Grand
Opening, December 3, 22 Howard Street, 4 p.m.
Festival of Trees, Dec. 5 (4-8 p.m.) & Dec. 6 (9 a.m.-3 p.m.), Aberdeen Activity Center.
Aberdeen's 48th Christmas Street Celebration, Saturday, December 6, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Christmas Parade at 3 p.m. (New Route).
Council Work Session, Monday, December 8, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 6 p.m.
Council Meeting, Monday, December 8, rescheduled to Monday, December 15, Council
