Page 1 of 3  Committee of the Whole 6/15/2026 Item: Interview of Nick Kautz for appointment to the Building Code Review Board, term ending April 30, 2027 Department: Integrated Services Item Description: Nick Kautz is the president of a remodeling business in Arlington Heights so he can provide insight from the builder's perspective. He feels it is important to look at potential code changes not just in theory, but also in practical application. Nick is passionate about giving back to his community, looking out for the greater good and keeping homes safe. ATTACHMENTS: None Page 2 of 3  Committee of the Whole 6/15/2026 Item: Interview of Tyler Bennett for appointment to the Youth Commission, term ending April 30, 2027 Department: Integrated Services Item Description: Tyler Bennett is interested in local government and is eager to serve and improve his community. He has been very involved in Orchestra, Baseball, Marching Band and Golf. As a member of the Youth Commission, Tyler is hoping to contribute to meaningful projects and represent the voices of young people in order to make Arlington Heights an even better place to live for people of all ages.
