Disposition of Minutes • April 15th, 2026 • Joanna motion to accept: Gene Seconded. Approved 3. Title 33: Tree Permit, Right of Way Issues, Public Land • Carpenter St landscaping site walkthrough • Plans still being updated, waiting on response from American StructurePoint with adjustments • Big changes, hoping to amend towards a tree lawn rather than individual pits • Remove 1 tree, leave the others for now. • They were accepting of taking tree suggestions • Johnny Appleseed Park • Currently being used as staging for utility work, several shrubs removed • Plans to renovate? • Tristan wants to get with Service Safety to discuss the concrete plan. • Gene said soil work will need to be done. He hopes there is more than just putting the trees back. 4. Title 37: Landscape Ordinance Issues 5. Maintenance of the Tree Canopy • Stimson Bike Path Planting Replacements • Tom is in communication with Menards to replace the trees • 200 plus trees in the bank. We would like to see them replaced and not pulled out of the bank. Page 4 of 9  6. New Business • Fall Plantings and Arbor Day Event • Westside plantings? Where, when, how many? • The mayor wants to watch power lines. Will need to have OU to approve. Placing trees about 50 feet apart along the bike path. • About 74 trees can fit in that area. • OU Soccer field (6-8 trees?) • Megan and Sam will flag at the next set of games. Megan will then follow up with City. The city will talk with OU. • Be careful of power lines under Scalia’s tower. • Coordinating with Stimson replacements • Chris Hedges application for appointment 7.
