Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions CALL TO ORDER: Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 4:01pm. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Patty Smith, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman-At-Large Sherman Jenkins and Alderman-At-Large Ron Woerman OTHERS PRESENT APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0541 Approval of the minutes from the BZE Committee meeting held on July 14, 2021. A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final July 28, 2021 Development Committee 21-0582 An Ordinance Vacating a Temporary Easements on the Property generally located at the southeast corner of Wolf’s Crossing and Eola Road, in Will County, Aurora, Illinois 60503 A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 BUILDING, ZONING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT RESOLUTIONS 21-0414 A Resolution Approving the Final Plat for Lincoln Crossing Subdivision on vacant land, generally located at the southeast corner of Wolf’s Crossing and Eola Road A motion was made by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0415 A Resolution Approving a Final Plan for Lincoln Crossing Subdivision generally located at the southeast corner of Wolf’s Crossing and Eola Road A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0447 A Resolution Approving a Final Plat Revision for Lot 2 of Meijer Subdivision, and Establishing Lot 2-2 of Meijer Subdivision A motion was made by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0455 A Resolution Approving a Revision to the Final Plan on Lots 295, 296, 301, 305 and 309-316 of Deerbrook Place Unit 5 located at the southeast corner of Hafenrichter Road and S. Farnsworth Avenue for a ROW Dwelling (Party Wall) (1130) Use A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. New York Street and 4424-4462 E. New York Street A motion was made by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0526 A Resolution Approving the Final Plat for Habitat Acres Subdivision, Located South of Spruce Street and East of North Russell Avenue A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Saville adjourned the meeting at 4:42pm.
