Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 4:02pm. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Patty Smith, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman Sherman Jenkins and Alderman Ron Woerman APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0892 Approval of the minutes from the Building, Zoning and Economic Development Committee meeting held on October 27, 2021 . A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final November 10, 2021 Development Committee 21-0842 A Resolution Approving the Final Plat for INC Board Subdivision, Located North of West Indian Trail and East of Mercy Lane A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0663 An Ordinance Establishing a Conditional Use Planned Development, Approving the DAC Developments Plan Description and amending Chapter 49 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Aurora, by modifying the zoning map attached thereto to an underlying zoning of DF Downtown Fringe District for the property located at 100 N. Broadway A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0664 A Resolution Approving a Preliminary Plan and Plat for DAC Development Subdivision on property located at 100 N. Broadway for a Multi-Family Dwelling (1140) Use A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0757 An Ordinance amending Chapter 49 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Aurora, by modifying the zoning map attached thereto to rezone Property located at 2120 Sullivan Road from O(C) Office District with a Conditional Use to ORI Office, Research, Light Industrial A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0758 A Resolution approving a Final Plat on vacant land located at 2120 Sullivan Road A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0759 A Resolution approving a Final Plan for the property located at 2120 Sullivan Road for a Warehouse, Distribution and Storage Services (3300) Use A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. City of Aurora Page 2 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final November 10, 2021 Development Committee Ayes: 5 21-0908 A Resolution amending resolution R21-079 to allow additional time to submit reimbursement request, which was outlined in Exhibit “A” Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with John Karm for 14 S. May Street granted on April 13, 2020 A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0909 A Resolution amending resolution R21-082 to allow additional time to submit reimbursement request, which was outlined in Exhibit “A” Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Chad McDaniel for 448 Wilder Street granted on April 13, 2021 A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0911 A Resolution amending resolution R21-084 to allow additional time to submit reimbursement request, which was outlined in Exhibit “A” Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Guadalupe Zavala for 517 S. 4th Street granted on April 13, 2021 . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 BUILDING, ZONING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT RESOLUTIONS 21-0691 A Resolution Approving a Final Plan Revision on Lot 1 and Lot 3 of Pacifica Square Subdivision located at the northwest corner of New York Street and State Route 59 A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Saville adjourned the meeting at 5:07pm.
