ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Patty Smith, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman Sherman Jenkins and Alderman Ron Woerman APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0972 Approval of minutes from the Building, Zoning and Economic Development Committee Meeting held on November 22, 2021 . A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 21-0853 An Ordinance Authorizing the Execution of an Amended Lease Between the City of Aurora and Suburban Properties, LLC . for two hangars at the Aurora Airport. A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. City of Aurora Page 1 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final December 15, 2021 Development Committee Ayes: 5 BUILDING, ZONING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT RESOLUTIONS 21-0903 A Resolution Approving a Final Plan on Lot 3 of First Resubdivision of Fox Valley East Region I Subdivision, Unit No. 1 located on the east side of Fox Valley Mall, West of Route 59, South of New York Street A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0947 A Resolution Approving a Final Plan on Lot 1 for World Class Wireless Subdivision, Located at 2800 Diehl Road, for a Business and Professional, Office (2400) Use and a Warehouse, Distribution and Storage Services (3300) Use. A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 INFORMATION ONLY 21-0740 An update regarding the proposed changes to the sign ordinance, Chapter 41, Signs, of the Code of Ordinances. This Information/Discussion Only was discussed and filed. CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried.
