Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER Chairman Saville called the meeting to order at 4:05pm. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Patty Smith, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman Sherman Jenkins and Alderman Ron Woerman APPROVAL OF MINUTES 22-0365 Approval of the minutes from the Building, Zoning and Economic Development Committee meeting held on April 27, 2022 . A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 22-0295 An Ordinance Amending the Conditional Use Permit (6630), on the Property Located at 27 South Edgelawn Drive A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. City of Aurora Page 1 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final May 11, 2022 Development Committee Ayes: 5 22-0241 A Resolution Approving the Final Plat for DAC Development Subdivision on property located at 100 N. Broadway A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0243 A Resolution Approving a Final Plan on Lot 1 of DAC Development Subdivision located at 100 N. Broadway A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 An item was walked-on to provide an easement to ComEd from City owned parcels located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Farnsworth Avenue and Indian Trail (PIN 15-12-352-014 and 15-12-352-015). No action was taken on this item. This was discussed 22-0333 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with William Ward for 427 W. New York Street A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0334 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Leonard Bogacki for 502 Oak Avenue A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0335 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Shaunailia M. Byrd for 515 Oak Avenue . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Downer Place A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0338 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Timothy Maurer for 551 W. Downer Place A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0339 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Kirian Reyes for 325 Clark Street A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0340 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Peter Heald for 730 Grand Avenue A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0341 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Steve Quinn for 548 Garfield Avenue A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0361 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with David Lasota and Kathryn Marston-Lasota for 217 N. Chestnut Street A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0362 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Michael Alborn for 523 Oak Avenue A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0370 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with David Fey for 532 Oak Avenue A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0373 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Alexander Sagols for 402 S. 4th Street A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0383 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with 116 N. View Street for Quincy and Terri Jeffries A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0384 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Historic Preservation Grant Agreement with Mike and Alicia Rivera for 327 W. New York A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this meting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairman Saville adjourned the meeting at 5:02pm.
