Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 4:01pm. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Patty Smith, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman Sherman Jenkins and Alderman Ron Woerman APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0263 Approval of the minutes from the Building, Zoning and Economic Development Committee meeting held on March 29, 2023 . A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final April 12, 2023 Development Committee 23-0103 An Ordinance Approving a Revision to the Life Storage Centers, LLC, Plan Description on 5.48 Acres, for Property Located at 1650 North Randall Road. A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 23-0104 A Resolution Approving a Revision to the Final Plan for Life Storage Centers Subdivision, Located at 1650 North Randall Road for a Mini-Storage, Common Corridor Units (3342) Use A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 HELD 23-0088 A Resolution Approving the Final Plat for Lincoln Prairie by Del Webb Subdivision, Phase 2A on vacant land generally located at South of Wolf's Crossing Road and East of Eola Road A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 23-0089 A Resolution Approving the Final Plat for Lincoln Prairie by Del Webb Subdivision, Phase 2B on vacant land generally located at South of Wolf's Crossing Road and East of Eola Road A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 5 23-0090 A Resolution Approving a Final Plan for Lincoln Prairie by Del Webb Subdivision, Phase 2A and 2B generally located at South of Wolf's Crossing Road and East of Eola Road A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). Ayes: 5 City of Aurora Page 2 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final April 12, 2023 Development Committee 23-0107 An Ordinance Vacating Stormwater Control Easements and City Easements on the Property located at South of Wolf's Crossing and East of Eola Rd, in Will County, Aurora, Illinois A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 23-0171 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 49 of the Code of Ordinance, City of Aurora, by Modifying the Zoning Map Attached thereto to Rezone Property located near the Northeast Corner of North Farnsworth Avenue and Mountain Street from R-1, One Family Dwelling District, to M-1, Manufacturing District - Limited. This Ordinance was held CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Saville adjourned the meeting at 4:20pm.
