ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Chairperson Patty Smith, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman Mike Saville and Alderman Bill Donnell Absent: 1 - Vice Chair Shweta Baid APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0591 Approval of the minutes from the Building, Zoning and Economic Development Committee meeting held on July 26, 2023 . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Saville, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final August 10, 2023 Development Committee 23-0582 An Ordinance Annexing of Jericho Road, being 1.24 acres, located at between S. Edgelawn and Athena Road to the City of Aurora, Illinois, 60506 A motion was made by Alderman Saville, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 23-0585 A Resolution Authorizing the Endorsement of the 2021 Climate Action Plan for the Chicago Region. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 23-0620 A Resolution Authorizing a Limited Operator Agreement with Stange Aviation, LLC at the Aurora Municipal Airport for a period of One Year . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Saville, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 BUILDING, ZONING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT RESOLUTIONS 23-0586 A Resolution approving a Final Plan for the property located at 2931 Village Green Drive for a Multi-Family Dwelling (1140) Use A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Saville, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 4 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried.
