Please contact the Aldermen's Office at (630) 256-3020. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 4:01 pm. ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Patty Smith, Alderman Javier Bañuelos and Alderwoman Juany Garza Absent: 1 - Alderman-At-Large Will White APPROVAL OF MINUTES 26-0199 Approval of the minutes from the Building, Zoning, and Economic Development Committee meeting held on March 25, 2026 . A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final April 15, 2026 Development Committee 26-0198 An Ordinance Granting a Conditional Use for Special Purpose Recreational Institution (5200) use at the property located at 55 S Lake Street. Alex Minella, Zoning & Planning - City of Aurora Michael Mancuso, Superjumbo Arcade - Yetee Station Arcade A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 26-0221 An Ordinance annexing the Property located at 6S361 Old Eola Road, which consists of six parcels, to the City of Aurora, pursuant to a Water Service Agreement. Jane Rechner, Zoning & Planning - City of Aurora A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 26-0229 An Ordinance annexing the Properties located at 6S346 and 6S356 Old Eola Road to the City of Aurora, pursuant to a Water Service Agreement . Jane Rechner, Zoning & Planning - City of Aurora Tracey Vacek, Zoning & Planning - City of Aurora A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 26-0237 A Resolution Approving an Easement Release Agreement between the City of Aurora, Pulte Home Company, LLC and Oswego Community Unit School District No. 308 for the right to a City Easement on property located at the southeast corner of Eola Road and U.S. Route 30 Jill Morgan, Zoning & Planning - City of Aurora A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 BUILDING, ZONING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT RESOLUTIONS City of Aurora Page 2 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final April 15, 2026 Development Committee 26-0236 A Resolution approving a Final Plan on Lot 6 of Podolsky Orchard 88 Subdivision, located at 2695 West Sullivan Road for a Warehouse, Distribution and Storage Services (3300) Use Joanna Wu, Zoning & Planning - City of Aurora Tracey Vacek, Zoning & Planning - City of Aurora Patrick Collins, Legal - City of Aurora A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 4 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Saville adjourned the meeting at 4:22 pm.
