A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Irvin to approve the Minutes from the City Council Meeting from September 8, 2015. The motion carried by a voice vote. APPOINTMENT OF SERGEANT-AT-ARMS A motion was made by Alderman Hart- Burns, seconded by Alderman Franco to appoint Officer Hornberg as Sergeant-at-Arms for this meeting. The motion carried by a voice vote. PRESENTATIONS 15-00821 Recognition of Judith Morrison for 12 years of service on the Civil Service Commission. A certificate of recognition was presented by Mayor Pro Tem O'Connor to Judy Morrison for her service to the City of Aurora as a member of the Civil Service Commission. This Resolution was approved. Highland Avenue. This Resolution was approved. Enactment No: R15-270 15-00804 A Resolution awarding Meade Electric the low joint bid for the two year citywide traffic signal maintenance. This Resolution was approved. Enactment No: R15-271 15-00807 A Resolution Authorizing the City of Aurora to Enter into a Residential Lease Agreement for 22 West Park Place . This Resolution was approved. Enactment No: R15-275 City of Aurora Page 5 City Council Meeting Minutes - Final September 22, 2015 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 15-00771 An Ordinance providing for the issuance of $69,185,000 aggregate principal amount of General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2015-C, of the City of Aurora, Kane, DuPage, Kendall and Will Counties, Illinois, confirming the sale thereof, and providing for the levy and collection of a direct annual tax for the payment of the principal of and interest on said bonds . Brian Caputo, Chief Financial Officer, presented briefly on this item to provide an update on the final bid to be accepted to refinance the General Obligation Bonds at an aggregate of $69,185,000. A summary of the activity was provided in writing to the Mayor Pro Tem and members of the City Council for review. A motion to adopt this ordinance was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Hart-Burns.
