Present: 12 - Alderman Tina Bohman, Alderman Juany Garza, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman Mike Saville, Alderman Scheketa Hart-Burns, Alderman Rick Mervine, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Judd Lofchie, Alderman Sherman Jenkins, Alderman Bob O'Connor and Mayor Richard Irvin Absent: 1 - Alderman Ted Mesiacos PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE INVOCATION The invocation was led by Pastor Randy Schoof of the Warehouse Church. MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF TUESDAY, JULY 11, 2017 17-00657 Approval of the Tuesday, July 11, 2017 City Council Meeting Minutes. A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Garza, to approve and file the minutes from the July 11, 2017 City Council Meeting as presented. The motion carried by voice vote. APPOINTMENT OF SERGEANT-AT-ARMS Alderman Hart-Burns made a motion, seconded by Alderman Garza to appoint Officer Reeder as Sergeant-at-Arms for this meeting. The motion carrired by a voice vote. PRESENTATIONS 17-00685 Harry Potter Festival Update. Enactment No: R17-224 17-00565 A Resolution approving the issuance of a Music Festival permit to St. Rita of Cascia, 750 W. Old Indian Trail, for Sunday August 13th, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m . This Resolution was approved. Enactment No: R17-225 17-00593 A Resolution authorizing the transfer of a 2013 Ford Focus (38-502) from Aurora Emergency Management Agency to the Aurora Fire Department for use by the Fire Cadet program . This Resolution was approved. Enactment No: R17-226 17-00601 A Resolution to award a contract to D. Construction, Inc. in the amount of $528,976.80 for the South Eola Road Stormwater Management and Conveyance Improvements . This Resolution was approved. Enactment No: R17-227 17-00607 A Resolution Accepting the Dedication of a City Watermain Easement at 2655 White Oak Circle, being Lot 24 Unit Three of White Oak Business Subdivision located east of White Oak Circle and south of Diehl Road. This Resolution was approved. Enactment No: R17-228 17-00608 An Ordinance Vacating a Utility & Drainage Easement on the Property located at 2685 Clara Avenue, in DuPage County, Aurora, Illinois This Ordinance was adopted. This Resolution was approved. Enactment No: R17-230 17-00610 A Resolution approval for Chicago Premium Outlet to have a Music Festival as part of their 2017 Party on the Pond Concert Series event to be held at 1650 Premium Outlets Blvd. on August 3rd, 17th and 31st, September 14th and 21st and October 5th, 2017 This Resolution was approved.
