The Special City Council Meeting will be held in City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, Aurora City Hall, 44 E. Downer Place, Aurora, Illinois. ROLL CALL The Mayor called the Special City Council meeting to order at 8:09 P.M. and the roll was called. Present: 12 - Alderman Tina Bohman, Alderman Juany Garza, Alderman Ted Mesiacos, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman Mike Saville, Alderman Scheketa Hart-Burns, Alderman Rick Mervine, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Judd Lofchie, Alderman Sherman Jenkins and Mayor Richard Irvin APPOINTMENT OF SERGEANT-AT-ARMS A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns , seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be to appoint Officer Sullivan as Sergeant-at-Arms for this meeting. The motion carried by voice vote. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no members of the public who wished to address members of City Council. NEW BUSINESS 18-0415 A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept a grant and execute the Program Funding Agreement in the amount of $250,000 from the Illinois Housing Development Authority’s Abandoned Residential Property Municipal Relief Program . City of Aurora Page 1 City Council Meeting Minutes - Final June 5, 2018 A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Alderman Hart-Burns, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried. Aye: 11 - Alderman Bohman, Alderman Garza, Alderman Mesiacos, Alderman Donnell, Alderman Franco, Alderman Saville, Alderman Hart-Burns, Alderman Mervine, Alderman Bugg, Alderman Lofchie and Alderman Jenkins Enactment No: R18-131 CLOSED SESSION There was no need for a closed session. ADJOURN A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Alderman Hart-Burns, to adjourn the meeting of City Council. The motion carried by voice vote. The meeting adjourned at 8:11 P.M.
