ROLL CALL Mayor Irvin called the meeting to order at 4:32 p.m. and the roll was called. Present: 12 - Alderman Emmanuel Llamas, Alderman Juany Garza, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman Mike Saville, Alderman Scheketa Hart-Burns, Alderman Patty Smith, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Judd Lofchie, Alderman Sherman Jenkins, Alderman Bob O'Connor and Mayor Richard Irvin Absent: 1 - Alderman Ted Mesiacos PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE INVOCATION APPOINTMENT OF SERGEANT-AT-ARMS A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Jenkins to appoint Ofc. Sullivan as Sergeant-At-Arms for this meeting. PUBLIC COMMENT NEW BUSINESS A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Franco to suspend the rules and hear matters under New Business. City of Aurora Page 1 City Council Meeting Minutes - Final July 25, 2019 19-0639 A Resolution amending and amplifying the provisions of Resolution 19-159 with respect to the establishment of lines of credit for various public purposes and the authority to make expenditures from such funds . A motion was made by Alderman Saville, seconded by Alderman Jenkins, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried. Aye: 11 - Alderman Llamas, Alderman Garza, Alderman Donnell, Alderman Franco, Alderman Saville, Alderman Hart-Burns, Alderman Smith, Alderman Bugg, Alderman Lofchie, Alderman Jenkins and Alderman O'Connor Enactment No: R19-240 19-0650 A Resolution Authorizing the Disbursement of Charitable Contributions Collected on Behalf of the Families of the Victims and the One Surviving Victim of the Pratt Industries Shooting Incident . A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Garza, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried.
