Mayor Irvin found that an in-person meeting of the Council was neither practical nor prudent and that it was not feasible for members of the public to attend this meeting in person at City Hall. The meeting was conducted by Internet teleconference without the physical presence of a quorum. Mayor Irvin was present at City Hall, the regular meeting location. City of Aurora Page 1 City Council Meeting Minutes - Final January 12, 2021 PRESENTATIONS 20-0876 Recognition of Commissioner's from the Planning and Zoning Commission Retiring members of the Aurora Planning Commission were honored and thanked for their service by the City of Aurora, Mayor Irvin and the City of Aurora Aldermen: Lynn Head - 3 years of service Kathy Duncan - 5 years of service Kenneth Cameron - 17 years of service Patrick Divine - 21 years of service 20-0877 Recognition of the Fox Valley Realtors Association's 100th Anniversary A Mayoral Proclamation was presented for the 100th Anniversary of REALTOR Association of the Fox Valley and was accepted by Mr. Lucas Albright, President of the REALTOR Association of the Fox Valley. 21-0020 CHANGE Reform Initiative Update. Clayton Muhammad - City of Aurora, presented an update to the Civilian Review Board and announced the Semi Finalists for the Board. Mr. Muhammad announced the City of Aurora's 36th Annual MLK Ceremony to be held on Monday January 18, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. on Facebook Live. 21-0021 Mayor’s Office Community Recognitions. The Mayor's Office presented Mr. Julio Flores, R.N., with the Mayor's Healthcare Hero Award. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no members of the public wishing to address the City Council.
