ROLL CALL Members present: Kim Bright, Timothy Brown, Ginger Ingram, Andrea McMillian, Curtis Wilson (5). Members absent: (0). OTHERS PRESENT Others Present: None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0114 Approval of the Minutes of the Thursday, January 18, 2024, Civilian Review Board Meeting. Member McMillian made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Member Ingram. The motion was carried by a voice vote as follows: Ayes: 3 - Ginger Ingram, Andrea McMillian, Curtis Wilson. Nayes: 0. Abstain: 2 - Kim Bright, Timothy Brown. PUBLIC COMMENT None. PRESENTATION / GUEST SPEAKER None. NEW BUSINESS 24-0115 Status Update for Potential Board Members Chair Wilson spoke about how he has actively engaged with the community and went to various boards and organizations of the City to petition for assistance in board member recruitment efforts. 24-0116 Update to APD Initiative Presentations City of Aurora Page 1 Civilian Review Board Meeting Minutes - Final February 15, 2024 Chair Wilson stated that the Recruitment and My90 Presentation will be held in March and April respectively. ANNOUNCEMENTS Chair Wilson announced that the 5th Anniversary of the Henry Pratt Candlelight Vigil is being held today Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the Belle Salle Events Center (1920 E. New York Street, Aurora, Illinois 60502). Chair Wilson announced that this is Member Bright's last meeting and members / staff present shared some words and acknowledgement of Member Bright's efforts as the first Chair of the Board (two terms). ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Member Bright, seconded by Member Ingram to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried by voice vote.
