ROLL CALL Members present: Timothy Brown, Ginger Ingram, Curtis Wilson (3). Members absent: Andrea McMillian (1). OTHERS PRESENT Others present: Nydia Molina, Assistant Corporation Counsel; Jennifer Stallings, City Clerk; Lieutenant William Rowley, Aurora Police Department; Christopher Bennett; Renu Kanakamma; and Dawn D'Orazio. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0791 Approval of the Minutes of the Thursday, May 16, 2024, Civilian Review Board Meeting. Vice Chair Brown made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Member Ingram. The motion was carried by voice vote. PUBLIC COMMENT None. PRESENTATION / GUEST SPEAKER 24-0792 APD Presentation - My90 Lieutenant William Rowley gave a PowerPoint presentation on My90. NEW BUSINESS 24-0794 Swearing-In of New Members City Clerk Jennifer Stallings conducted the swearing-in of our three new members: Christopher Bennett, Renu Kanakamma, and Dawn D'Orazio. 24-0795 Election of Chair for 2024-2025 Postponing to next meeting. Vice Chair Brown made a motion to hold the election over for next month's City of Aurora Page 1 Civilian Review Board Meeting Minutes - Final October 17, 2024 meeting, seconded by Member D'Orazio. The motion was carried by a roll vote as follows: Ayes: 5 - Christopher Bennett, Timothy Brown, Dawn D'Orazio, Renu Kanakamma, Curtis Wilson. Nayes: 1 - Ginger Ingram. Absent: 1 - Andrea McMillian. 24-0796 Election of Vice Chair for 2024-2025 Postponing to next meeting. Vice Chair Brown made a motion to hold the election over for next month's meeting, seconded by Member D'Orazio. The motion was carried by a roll vote as follows: Ayes: 5 - Christopher Bennett, Timothy Brown, Dawn D'Orazio, Renu Kanakamma, Curtis Wilson. Nayes: 1 - Ginger Ingram. Absent: 1 - Andrea McMillian. 24-0793 2023-0252 - Chief's Disposition Member Ingram made a motion to approve the 2023-0252 - Chief's Disposition, seconded by Vice Chair Brown. The motion was carried by a roll vote as follows: Ayes: 3 - Timothy Brown, Ginger Ingram, Curtis Wilson. Nayes: 0. Abstained: 3 - Christopher Bennett, Dawn D'Orazio, Renu Kanakamma.
