A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Franco to approve and file the Minutes from the Tuesday, July 19, 2016 meeting. The motion carried by a voice vote. Alderman Bohman abstained. He also reported that this upcoming weekend is very busy with two large events at RiverEdge Park and First Friday in the downtown on Friday. He also stated that this evening is National Night Out with 34 Aurora neighborhoods participating this year. MAYORAL APPOINTMENT 16-00727 A Resolution Appointing Ed Barsotti, Jerod Powell and Mary Jane Cross to the Aurora Bicycle, Pedestrian and Transit Advisory Board . This Resolution was referred to the City Council CLOSED SESSION There was no need for a Closed Session. ADJOURN A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, sconded by Alderman Bugg to adjourn the meeting of the Committee of the Whole. The motion was carried by a voice vote.
