Alderman Mesiacos arrived after roll call was completed at 5:08 P.M. MAYOR’S REPORT The Mayor spoke about the Mayoral Appointments. MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS 18-0038 A Resolution Appointing Bertha Baillie to the Aurora Human Relations Commission. This Resolution was referred to the City Council Enactment No: R18-011 18-0039 A Resolution Appointing Fawn Clarke Peterson and Ray Ziganto to the Aurora Public Art Commission . This Resolution was referred to the City Council. Enactment No: R18-012 ALDERMAN'S CORNER Alderman Saville presented information regarding Ward 6 activities and events. Alderman Jenkins spoke regarding the event for the Quad County African American Chamber of Commerce. Alderman Hart-Burns thanked those who were in attendance at the Naomi King event remembering the life of Martin Luther King, Jr.. CLOSED SESSION A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman O'Connor to enter into a Closed Session under Section 2(c)11) of the Open Meetings Act City of Aurora Page 5 Committee of the Whole Meeting Minutes - Final January 16, 2018 for discussion of litigation, when the action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pendgin before a court at the conclusion of the open portion of this meeting.
