Present 13 - Alderman Kristina "Tina" Bohman, Alderman Juany Garza, Alderman Ted Mesiacos, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman Mike Saville, Alderman Scheketa Hart-Burns , Alderman Rick Mervine, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Judd Lofchie, Alderman Sherman Jenkins, Alderman Bob O'Connor, and Mayor Richard Irvin MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2018 18-1032 Approval of Tuesday, November 6, 2018 Committee of the Whole Meeting Minutes. A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins , seconded by Alderman Hart-Burns, that the minutes be approved and filed. The motion carried by voice vote. This Resolution was (PLACED ON CONSENT AGENDA) to the City Council Enactment No: R18-305 18-0973 A Resolution authorizing the purchase of diesel fuel and gasoline for the Aurora Fire Department vehicles and emergency backup generators from Blu Petroleum of Mundelein, IL, in an amount in excess of $25,000. This Resolution was (PLACED ON CONSENT AGENDA) to the City Council Enactment No: R18-306 18-1012 A Resolution to approve the Security Reduction No. 1 for M-14 Hoops Facility 2414 Church Rd. This Resolution was (PLACED ON CONSENT AGENDA) to the City Council Enactment No: R18-312 18-1017 A Resolution to approve the Security Reduction No. 1 for Fox Valley Farms 2619 Beverly Dr. This Resolution was (PLACED ON CONSENT AGENDA) to the City Council Enactment No: R18-313 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 18-0708 A Resolution approving a settlement agreement in the matter of Gottemoeller Real Estate Ltd. v. the City of Aurora, Circuit Court of Kane County Case 16 MR 1386. This Resolution was (HELD) MAYOR’S REPORT Mayor Irvin spoke regarding the Winter Lights event last week. Fireworks at the event was sponsored by the Chicago Premium Outlet Mall. He thanked the Broadway business owners for painting the windows in holiday themes. He also thanked everyone who participated in and supported the Winter Lights event. City of Aurora Page 4 Committee of the Whole Meeting Minutes - Final November 20, 2018 STAFF REPORT Marty Lyons, Chief Financial Officer, spoke regarding an ordinance that will be introduced at the November 27, 2018 City Council meeting to begin the creation of TIF 9. 18-1000 P Ticket Update John Curley, Chief Development Officer, spoke regarding P-Tickets. Anna Payton, Animal Control Manager, and Kelvin Beene, Property Standards Manager spoke regarding the use of the P-Tickets for the Animal Control and Property Standards divisions. This Presentation was (INFORMATION ONLY) CLOSED SESSION There was no reason for a Closed Session.
