ROLL CALL Technical difficulties existed that prevented the meeting from starting at 5:00 p.m. Technical difficulties were resolved and Mayor Irvin called the meeting to order at 5:18 p.m. and the roll was called. Mayor Irvin found that an in-person meeting of the Council was neither practical nor prudent and that it was not feasible for members of the public to attend this meeting in person at City Hall. The meeting was conducted by Internet teleconference without the physical presence of a quorum. Mayor Irvin was present at City Hall, the regular meeting location. A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns and seconded by Alderman Garza to approve the minutes as presented. There were no additional items. Arthington St., Chicago, Illinois, 60612 in the amount of one hundred sixty-one thousand, seven hundred and eighty-seven dollars and zero cents ($161,787.00). (PLACED ON CONSENT AGENDA) REPORT OF THE RULES, ADMINISTRATION AND PROCEDURES COMMITTEE The Rules, Administration and Procedures Committee Met On December 16, 2020 Chairman Franco presented an update regarding the incoming Chief of Staff for the Aldermen's Office as well as an update regarding status of discussions by the RAP Committee on the subject of the sale of pets in the City of Aurora. MAYOR’S REPORT Mayor Irvin and Clayton Muhammad - City of Aurora, presented an update on the Civilian Review Board and application, interview and selection process. (INFORMATION ONLY) CLOSED SESSION There was no need for a Closed Session during this meeting. ADJOURN A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns and seconded by Alderman Franco to adjourn this meeting.
