ROLL CALL
Mayor Irvin called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. and the roll was called.
Alderman Bugg was not present at the time of roll call, however, Alderman
Bugg arrived at the meeting immediately thereafter, at 5:07 p.m., and was
present for the meeting.

22-0963 Approval of the Minutes of the Tuesday, November 15, 2022,
Committee of the Whole Meeting.
A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns and seconded by Alderwoman
Garza to approve and file the minutes as presented. The motion carried by
voice vote.
PUBLIC COMMENT
The City Clerk read the Rules for Public Comment and the following people
presented comments to the Committee of the Whole:
1. Ronneil Cooper regarding the Aurora Police Department.
2. Aly Brown regarding governmental affairs.
3. Johnetta Jamison regarding the Aurora Police Department.
4. Nora Muhlenfeld regarding development in the City of Aurora.
5. David Cannon regarding housing among other issues.

REPORT OF THE
BUILDING, ZONING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
The Building, Zoning and Economic Development Committee Met On November
21, 2022 and Reviewed the Following Items:
Prior to the report of the BZE Committee, Mayor Irvin made a statement
concerning the Clyde Penson Memorial Park item that had been removed from
the agenda.
Alderwoman Hart-Burns made a statement in honor of the Penson Family who
was present at the Committee of the Whole Meeting. Alderwoman Hart-Burns
announced that there will be a rededication ceremony of the Clyde Penson
Memorial Park on April 12, 2023.
A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns and seconded by Alderwoman
Garza to remove Clyde Penson Memorial Park from consideration for sale in
perpetuity. The motion carried by voice vote.
