Nelson, APD; APPROVAL OF MINUTES 15-01133 Approval of the 12/22/2015 finance committee meeting minutes. A motion was made by Alderman Mervine, seconded by Alderman Bohman, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 AGENDA 16-00002 An Ordinance Calling for a Public Hearing and a Joint Review Board Meeting to Consider the Expansion of the Redevelopment Project Area for the East Farnsworth Tax Increment Financing District (TIF City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes January 12, 2016 District No. 8) and an Amended Redevelopment Plan and Project for the East Farnsworth Tax Increment Financing District (TIF District No. 8) in Relation Thereto A motion was made by Alderman Mervine, seconded by Alderman Bohman, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 15-01131 A Resolution to purchase 17 new automobiles and trucks from the Illinois Department of Central Management Services Master Contracts or the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative . A motion was made by Alderman Bohman, seconded by Alderman Mervine, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 15-01139 A Resolution Extending a Contract with Melrose Pyrotechnics for the Independence Day Fireworks Display for Special Events in the Amount of $40,000 for 2016 with two extensions . A motion was made by Alderman Mervine, seconded by Alderman Bohman, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 HELD 15-00687 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 12 of the Aurora Code of Ordinances by Adding A New Article X1 Establishing a Vacant and Foreclosure Registration System Requiring Registration and Inspection of Properties and Establishing Regulations for Enforcement Thereof. This Ordinance was held ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Bohman, seconded by Alderman Mervine, that the meeting be adjourned. Chairman O'Connor adjourned the meeting at 4:40 PM. The motion carried.
