Bugg Alderman Ted Mesiacos Alderman Rick Mervine, Alternate SPECIAL FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING In accordance with Sec. 5 ILCS 120/2.02 of the Illinois Open Meetings Act, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a Special Finance Committee Meeting at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. The Special Finance Committee Meeting will be held in the meeting room of the Aldermen’s office, 60 E Downer Place, Aurora, IL CALL TO ORDER Chairman O'Connor called the meeting to order at 4:33pm. ROLL CALL Present: 3 - Chairperson Bob O'Connor, Alderman Edward Bugg and Alderman Ted Mesiacos OTHERS PRESENT Steve Lord City of Aurora: Alex Alexandrou, Mayor's Office; Stacey Hamling, Finance; Jolene Coulter, Purchasing; Don Davids, Fire Department; Dan Feltman, Engineering; Cristal Martinez, Aldermen's Office AGENDA HELD City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final October 17, 2017 17-00851 A Resolution Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement with Pace and Intersection Media LLC for the installation, maintenance, and revenue sharing for Pace passenger shelters at the Aurora Transportation Center and in the City's right of way. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 17-00926 A Resolution Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Local Agency Agreement for Federal participation with the State of Illinois and to execute the construction engineering services agreement with HRGreen for Aurora Transportation Center (ATC) Regional Facility Enhancement Project A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 17-00924 A Resolution authorizing the acceptance of the lowest responsive bid for the roof replacement project at AFD fire station 12 in the amount of $50,500 from Malcor roofing of Illinois for the Aurora Fire Department . A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this meeting be adjourned. Chairman O'Connor adjourned the meeting at 4:46pm. The motion carried.
