A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-0995 Approval of the minutes from the Special Finance Committee meeting on November 1, 2018. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-1009 Approval of the minutes from the Special Finance Meeting on November 6, 2018. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-1020 Approval of the minutes from the Special Finance Committee Meeting on November 8, 2018. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 APPOINTMENT OF SERGEANT-AT-ARMS A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Bugg, to appoint the Sergeant-at-Arms for this meeting. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 PUBLIC COMMENT Jim Buzzard; Barb Buzzard; Joe Lusk AGENDA 18-0973 A Resolution authorizing the purchase of diesel fuel and gasoline for the Aurora Fire Department vehicles and emergency backup generators from Blu Petroleum of Mundelein, IL, in an amount in excess of $25,000. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. City of Aurora Page 2 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final November 13, 2018 Ayes: 3 18-0979 A Resolution to approve the ratification for payment and expenses to Patterson Veterinary Supply, Inc. for various medications and vaccines for the animals in the care of Animal Care and Control. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-0984 A Resolution Ratify payments to the University Of Illinois Fire Service Institute. A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-0988 A Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of Bulk Rock Salt in the Amount of $63.87 per ton. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-0961 A Resolution to approve a purchase of a 2018 Ford F-450 dump truck for the Street Maintenance Division in the amount of $55,624.00 from Currie Motors. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-0994 Review the Proposed 2019 City budget for Executive, Aldermen, Law, Finance, & Library. This Reports/Studies was discussed and filed ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Chairman O'Connor, that this meeting be adjourned. Chairman O'Connor adjourned the meeting at 5:30pm. The motion carried.
