Please contact the Aldermen’s office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER: Vice Chairperson Jenkins called the meeting to order at 3:01pm. ROLL CALL Chairman Franco was present via Zoom teleconference and requested permission to participate remotely per section 2-80. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg and seconded by Alderwoman Hart-Burns to allow Chairman Franco to participate in this meeting via Zoom. Present: 5 - Chairperson Carl Franco, Vice Chair Sherman Jenkins, Alderwoman Shweta Baid, Alderman Edward Bugg and Alderwoman Scheketa Hart-Burns OTHERS PRESENT APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0750 Approval of the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on September 16, 2021. A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final September 30, 2021 AGENDA 21-0721 A Resolution authorizing a professional services agreement with Intergraph Corporation ("Hexagon") of Madison, Alabama, for a computer-aided dispatch resident administrator (CAD RSA) , in a contract amount not to exceed $179,928.00 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns, seconded by Chairperson Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0751 A Resolution to approve the purchase of licenses and equipment to increase interoperability of Public Safety radios form L3Harris, Melbourne, FL in the amount of $108 ,124.63 with a $3,000 contingency . A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Vice Chairperson Jenkins adjourned the meeting at 3:24pm.
