ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Carl Franco, Vice Chair Edward Bugg, Alderwoman Shweta Baid, Alderman Ron Woerman and Alderman Brandon Tolliver APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0033 Approval of the minutes from the Finance Committee meeting held on January 11, 2024 . A motion was made by Alderman Woerman, seconded by Alderwoman Baid, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final January 25, 2024 24-0050 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Memorandum of Reimbursement Between CyrusOne and the City of Aurora for the Property Located West of the Eola Interchange at 2725 Bilter Road, Aurora, 60502 for which CyrusOne is the Contract Buyer . A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Woerman, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0046 An Ordinance providing for the issuance of not to exceed $58,000,000 Taxable General Obligation Bonds, Series 2024, of the City of Aurora, Kane, DuPage, Kendall and Will Counties, Illinois, for the purpose of financing certain casino redevelopment costs, providing for the levy of a direct annual tax sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on said bonds, providing for the pledge of certain incremental property taxes to the payment of said principal and interest, and authorizing the proposed sale of said bonds to the purchaser thereof A motion was made by Alderman Woerman, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Woerman, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairman Franco adjourned the meeting at 3:24pm.
