ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Carl Franco, Vice Chair Edward Bugg, Alderwoman Shweta Baid, Alderman Ron Woerman and Alderman Brandon Tolliver APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0389 Approval of the minutes from the Finance Committee meeting held on May 16, 2024. A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Vice Chair Bugg, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final May 30, 2024 24-0169 A Resolution authorizing F.H. Paschen, S.N. Nielsen & Associates, LLC, using the City of Aurora Job Order Contracting program, to remodel the City Hall 5th Floor Storage Area for $94,604.22, and a ten percent (10%) contingency of $9,460.42 . A motion was made by Alderman Woerman, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0362 A Resolution authorizing the Director of Purchasing to enter into an agreement with LDV Custom Specialty Vehicles (LDV, Inc.) in the amount not to exceed $268,800 for the construction of a rapid deployment and surveillance vehicle for the APD Special Operations Group. A motion was made by Alderman Tolliver, seconded by Alderwoman Baid, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0411 A Resolution to approve proposals to use existing funds for Lumenaura Festival, the City's first annual interactive light and sound experience . A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Vice Chair Bugg, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson adjourned the meeting at 3:38pm.
