ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Carl Franco, Vice Chair Edward Bugg, Alderwoman Shweta Baid, Alderman Ron Woerman and Alderman Brandon Tolliver APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0468 Approval of the minutes from the Finance Committee Meeting held on June 13, 2024. A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Woerman, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 24-0473 A Resolution authorizing the third amendment to the second amended and restated lease between Holcim-MAMR, Inc., formerly known as LaFarge Aggregates Illinois, Inc., and the City of Aurora. A motion was made by Alderman Woerman, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. (Invest Aurora), for the Purchase of Certain Real Property Located on Bilter Rd. and Authorizing the City's Officers and Employees to Complete the Transactions Contemplated by Said Contracts. A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0490 An update on matters related to the formation and making of a recommendation as to fixing of compensation of elected officials pursuant to the Local Government Officer Compensation Act . This Information/Discussion Only was discussed and filed CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Vice Chair Bugg, seconded by Alderman Woerman, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Franco adjourned the meeting at 3:34 pm.
