ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Chairperson Carl Franco, Alderwoman Shweta Baid, Alderman Ron Woerman and Alderman Brandon Tolliver Absent: 1 - Vice Chair Edward Bugg APPROVAL OF MINUTES 25-0267 Approval of the minutes from the Finance Committee meeting held on March 27, 2025. A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Woerman, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 25-0290 An Ordinance Amending the Ward 8 Budget for the Fiscal Year 2025. A motion was made by Alderman Woerman, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final April 10, 2025 25-0077 A Resolution approving renewal of an Agreement for Consulting Services with Marketplace.city 20 N. Wacker Drive , Suite, 1000, Chicago IL 60606, for the purpose of performing technology purchasing services for a three-year term with an additional two-year option for a total award of $375,000 . A motion was made by Alderman Tolliver, seconded by Alderman Woerman, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0252 A Resolution Authorizing Execution of Labor Agreement between the City of Aurora and Local 461 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL/CIO. A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Woerman, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0253 A Resolution authorizing the execution of a Phase 2 Engineering Agreement with HR Green, Inc., maximum amount of $153,789.00 and appropriating Motor Fuel Tax Funds for City's Safe Routes to School Projects in SD129, SD131, & SD204 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0286 A Resolution authorizing the Chief Financial Officer to execute contracts with electricity suppliers to provide electricity to the City of Aurora. A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0288 A Resolution authorizing the execution of sales tax revenue sharing agreement with Valley Honda to modernize and expand its existing dealership location. A motion was made by Alderman Woerman, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0291 A Resolution Authorizing Execution of Labor Agreement Between the City of Aurora and Association of Professional Police Officers (APPO) from 1/1/2025 through 12/31/2028 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.
