Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Garza called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. ROLL CALL Alderman Llamas arrived at 4:04 pm. Present: 5 - Chairperson Juany Garza, Vice Chair Ted Mesiacos, Alderman John Laesch, Alderman Emmanuel Llamas and Alderman Brandon Tolliver APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0110 Approval of the minutes from the Infrastructure and Technology Committee meeting held on February 12, 2024 . A motion was made by Vice Chair Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Infrastructure and Technology Meeting Minutes - Final February 26, 2024 Committee 24-0028 A Resolution to award the 2023 Manhole Rehabilitation project within all 10 wards to EmerGia Inc. in the bid amount of one hundred sixty-three thousand nine hundred sixty two Dollars and zero Cents ($163,962) . Kurt Muth, Engineering - City of Aurora, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Laesch, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 24-0081 A Resolution requesting to approve the purchase of additional licenses of VETRO FiberMap from VETRO, Inc., Portland, ME 04101, for an amount not to exceed $175,320 for a three-year term . Tim Shields, GIS - City of Aurora, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Llamas, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0082 A Resolution to approve $100,000 for any necessary repairs or replacement of City-owned Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) cameras for 2024 . Jeff Anderson, CIO - City of Aurora, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Llamas, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 Nayes: 1 24-0083 A Resolution authorizing an amount of up to $100,000 to Scientel Solutions, LLC, for any necessary repairs or replacement of City-owned computer network infrastructure for 2024 . Jeff Anderson, CIO - City of Aurora, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Llamas, seconded by Vice Chair Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 Nayes: 1 City of Aurora Page 2 Infrastructure and Technology Meeting Minutes - Final February 26, 2024 Committee 24-0122 A Resolution to award the McCleery Water Main Loop project , located in Ward 4, to Brandt Excavating, Inc., 385 E. Hoover St., Morris, Illinois 60450 in the bid amount of eighty-six thousand two hundred dollars and zero cents ($86,200.00) . Kurt Muth, Engineering - City of Aurora, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Laesch, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0123 A Resolution authorizing the purchase of a reel grinder from Reinders Inc. in the amount not to exceed $59,327.40 . Gio Santana, Parks and Recreation - City of Aurora, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Llamas, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Llamas, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Garza adjourned the meeting at 4:20 pm.
