Irvin; Cristal Colon, Aldermen's Office. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 19-0830 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety and Transportation Committee meeting held on September 10, 2019 . A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Saville, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT City of Aurora Page 1 Public Health, Safety, and Meeting Minutes - Final September 24, 2019 Transportation Committee AGENDA 19-0754 A Resolution to accept a grant from the State of Illinois in the Amount of $750,000 to complete the restoration of the Aurora Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Museum A motion was made by Alderman Saville, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 19-0838 A Resolution authorizing the City of Aurora to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding between the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and the Aurora Police Department (APD). A motion was made by Alderman Saville, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 19-0851 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class O City of Aurora liquor licenses (unofficially related to application from: La Tuna Banquet Hall, Inc. d/b/a La Tuna Banquet Hall, located at 620 Ashland Ave. , Aurora, Illinois.). A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 19-0853 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class E City of Aurora liquor licenses (unofficially related to application from: Aurora Restaurant, LLC located at 5 E. Galena, Aurora, IL 60506). A motion was made by Alderman Saville, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this meeting be adjourned. Chairperson Hart-Burns adjourned the meeting at 4:22pm. The motion carried.
