APPROVAL OF MINUTES 20-0155 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety and Transportation Committee meeting held on February 25, 2020 . A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 City of Aurora Page 1 Public Health, Safety, and Meeting Minutes - Final March 10, 2020 Transportation Committee PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 20-0117 Special Events Report Out/Update through February 28, 2020 This Reports/Studies was discussed and filed 20-0150 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class G-1 City of Aurora liquor licenses ( unofficially related to application from: OHMJA, Inc. d/b/a 7-Eleven #33064C , Aurora 60506). A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 20-0153 A Resolution to allow the Youth Services Division to apply for a Kane County Grand Victoria Riverboat Grant, to help establish a new Portable Soccer Field program. A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 20-0171 A Resolution Awarding Four Subgrantee Contracts for Census 2020 Outreach Services Not to Exceed $100,000 A motion was made by Alderman Lofchie, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 20-0182 A Resolution to extend the hours for the sale and consumption of liquor on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 - Cinco de Mayo . A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 20-0183 A Resolution approving a revised grant agreement between the Cities for Financial Empowerment and the City of Aurora to establish a Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) in the City . A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.
