Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Hart-Burns called the meeting to order at 4:05PM. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Scheketa Hart-Burns, Vice Chair Bill Donnell, Alderwoman Juany Garza, Alderman Ted Mesiacos and Alderman Mike Saville APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0889 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety, and Transportation Committee meeting held October 26, 2021. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Public Health, Safety, and Meeting Minutes - Final November 9, 2021 Transportation Committee 21-0878 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class C: Specialty On-Site Consumption liquor licenses (unofficially related to the application from Foreign Exchange Brewing, Inc. at 110 Cross St, Aurora). [Ward 4] A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Saville, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0896 A Resolution authorizing the continued services of civilian fingerprint analysts Julie Smith and Gina Minetti as contractual consultants for the purpose of fingerprint analysis and identification for the Aurora Police Department. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Saville, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0906 A Resolution authorizing Annual Action Plan Substantial Amendment 2021-#3 to modify Project CDBG-2018-02 - Mutual Ground Shelter Exterior Rehabilitation Project and to allocate HOME Investment Partnerships - American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) Administration and Planning Funding A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Saville, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0910 A Resolution to Approve the Contract from JCM Uniforms Inc. for the Purchase of Clothing and Uniforms for the Fire Department 2022. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Saville, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Saville, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Hart-Burns adjourned the meeting at 4:15PM.
