Chairman Hart-Burns requested permission to participate remotely per section 2-80 based on a reasonable anticipation of an extended illness ROLL CALL Chairman Hart-Burns was present via audio conference APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0292 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety, and Transportation Committee meeting held on April 11, 2023 . A motion was made by Chairperson Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Public Health, Safety, and Meeting Minutes - Final April 25, 2023 Transportation Committee 23-0067 A Resolution authorizing the Director of Purchasing to enter into an agreement with M/M Peters Construction, Inc., Aurora, IL in the amount of $73,032.31 for the replacement of concrete at Aurora Fire Department Station 8 apron. Matt Anslow, Fire Department; John Hoffman, Engineering A motion was made by Chairperson Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 23-0269 A Resolution authorizing the acceptance of the bid proposal from Beary Landscape Management for mowing and landscaping maintenance of various Aurora Fire Department stations with the option for two(2) one year extensions. Matt Anslow, Fire Department A motion was made by Chairperson Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 23-0323 A Resolution to approve an intergovernmental agreement with Waubonsee Community College for the City of Aurora's Youth Services Subdivision. Marty Shanahan, CCSO A motion was made by Chairperson Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Saville, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.
