CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Bill Donnell, Alderwoman Juany Garza, Alderman John Laesch and Alderman Ted Mesiacos APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0532 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety, and Transportation Committee meeting held on July 9, 2024. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Viviana Ramirez, Chief Community Services Officer - City of Aurora and Kathleen Watson, Assistant Corporation Counsel - City of Aurora, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0642 A Resolution Authorizing the Community Services Department to Accept the Donation of a Refrigerated Vehicle . Alex Alexandrou, Chief Management Officer - City of Aurora and Kathleen Watson, Assistant Corporation Counsel - City of Aurora, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Vice Chair Donnell, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried.
