Please contact the Aldermen's Office at (630) 256-3020. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Bill Donnell, Alderwoman Juany Garza and Alderman John Laesch Absent: 1 - Alderman Ted Mesiacos APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0984 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety, and Transportation Committee meeting held on December 10, 2024 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Public Health, Safety, and Meeting Minutes - Final January 14, 2025 Transportation Committee 24-0999 A Resolution authorizing the Emergency Management Coordinator to execute an Intergovernmental Emergency Warning Siren Donation Agreement with the Village of Sugar Grove pertaining to the real property located at Route 56 and Blackberry Creek in Sugar Grove, Illinois. Natalie Wiza, Coordinator of Emergency Management & Colin Pradel, EMA Specialist - City of Aurora presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Vice Chair Donnell, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0032 A Resolution authorizing the Chief of Police to sign and execute the Annual Memorandum of Understanding with Learning for Life, a District of Columbia non-profit corporation for the Aurora Police Department Youth Explorers Post #8847 program . Sergeant Wrobel, Officer Contreras, & Officer Nardone - APD presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this meeting be adjourned.
