CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m.

Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Bill Donnell, Alderwoman Juany Garza,
Alderman John Laesch and Alderman Ted Mesiacos
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
25-0185 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety, and
Transportation Committee held on February 25, 2025.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Donnell, seconded by Alderwoman Garza,
that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried.

25-0176 A Resolution awarding Anthem Excavation & Demolition Inc Aurora, IL as
the 2025 contractor with a possible two (2) one-year extension for Junk
and Trash abatement services within the City of Aurora Illinois.
Ruthy Harris, Property Standards - City of Aurora presented and answered questions
regarding this item.
A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch,
that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

25-0178 A Resolution awarding Tavarez and Sons Lawn Care LLC of Aurora, IL
as the 2025 contractor with a possible two (2) 1-year extensions for
Grass and Weeds abatement services within the City of Aurora Illinois.
Ruthy Harris, Property Standards and Jolene Coulter, Director of Purchasing - City of
Aurora presented and answered questions regarding this item.
A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch,
that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

25-0198 A Resolution authorizing the Director of Purchasing to execute the
service agreement approving of Third-Party Administrative Services for
the Boys and Girls Club of North Central Illinois to administer the 2025
Summer Programs in an amount not to exceed $18 0,000.00 for the Youth
Services division.
Simon Rodriguez, Youth Services Manager - City of Aurora and representatives from
the Boys & Girls Club of North Central Illinois presented and answered questions
regarding this item.
A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch,
that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

A motion was made by Alderman Laesch, seconded by Alderwoman Garza,
that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Saville
adjourned the meeting at 4:57 p.m.
