ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Carl Franco, Vice Chair Emmanuel Llamas, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Bill Donnell and Alderman Patty Smith OTHERS PRESENT Steve Lord, Christopher Laber, Nicholas Thompson City of Aurora: Alex Voigt, Mayor's Office; Deb Lang, Legal Dept.; Jennifer Stallings, City Clerk; Connie Krug, Aldermen's Office APPROVAL OF MINUTES 20-0047 Approval of the minutes of the January 21, 2020 Rules, Administration and Procedure Committee meeting. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Smith, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 20-0043 A Resolution Appointing Shanita Thompson and Joseph L. Grisson III to the Aurora African American Heritage Advisory Board . A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes February 4, 2020 Procedure Ayes: 5 20-0061 A Resolution To Endorse the Legislative Action Program of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference for the 2020 Legislative Session. A motion was made by Vice Chair Llamas, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 20-0067 A Resolution Appointing Robert Shemansky and Reappointing Paul Chabez Jr., Mike Kluber and Terrence Lindsay to the Permanent Building & Fire Code Committee. A motion was made by Alderman Donnell, seconded by Vice Chair Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 20-0077 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 6 "Alcoholic Liquor", Sec. 6-2 "Definitions" and Sec. 6-8 "Classifications" of the City of Aurora Code of Ordinances. This Ordinance was held 20-0078 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 8, Article 5 of the City of Aurora Code of Ordinances entitled "Video Gaming ." This Ordinance was held ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Llamas, that the meeting be adjourned. Chairperson Franco adjourend the meeting at 4:12 PM.
