A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Smith, that the minutes be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT None AGENDA 20-0568 A Resolution Reappointing John Perkins and Ramona Wood to the Aurora Civil Service Commission. A motion was made by Alderman Donnell, seconded by Alderman Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 20-0473 Discussion of Planning and Zoning Commission composition This Information/Discussion Only was discussed and filed. (Rick Veenstra, Law Dept. felt it was appropriate to take a vote on option 1 or 2 for the sake of formalizing the draft of the resolution. Option 1 was accepted in a 3/2 vote.) RETURNED ITEMS 20-0468 Committee action involving the selection process to fill anticipated vacancies in staff positions in the Office of the Aldermen. A motion was made by Alderman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Llamas, to recommend for approval (information only) that the Aldermanic Aide position be filled now. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 Nayes: 1 HELD 20-0533 Discussion regarding residency for City of Aurora employees . The motion carried.
