ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Carl Franco, Vice Chair Emmanuel Llamas, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Bill Donnell and Alderman Patty Smith OTHERS PRESENT City of Aurora: Rick Veenstra, Legal Dept.; Sandra Strueber, Aldermen's Office, Connie Krug, Aldermen's Office; Alisia Lewis, Human Resources. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no public comments. Chairman Franco entertained a motion to enter into closed session pursuant to Section 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act to discuss the hiring of personnel with the meeting to adjourn upon the conclusion of the closed session. Alderman Bugg stated that due to a personal conflict of interest, he would be excusing himself from any participation in the subject matter of the closed session and excused himself from the meeting. Upon a motion by Alderman Smith, seconded by Alderman Llamas, the committee entered into closed session at 1:04 PM. CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT: City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes October 14, 2020 Procedure A motion was made by Alderman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Llamas, that the meeting be adjourned. The closed session concluded at 2:27 PM whereupon the meeting adjourned pursuant to the earlier motion.
