CALL TO ORDER Chairman Bugg called the meeting to order at 3:04 PM ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Edward Bugg, Vice Chair Ron Woerman, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderman Emmanuel Llamas APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0817 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration and Procedures Committee meeting held on October 5, 2021 . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Woerman, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 21-0839 An Ordinance amending Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to the licensure of retailers engaged in the business of selling certain vapor and alternate tobacco and nicotine products . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Woerman, that this agenda item be held. The motion carried. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0830 A Resolution approving the appointments of members to the city's Advisory Commission for Disabilities . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0833 A Resolution approving the appointments of members to the city's African American Heritage Advisory Board . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0835 A Resolution approving the appointment of Thomas Dees to the Veteran's Advisory Council. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0840 A Resolution approving the appointment of Keefe Jackson to the Civil Service Commission. A motion was made by Alderman Donnell, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0841 A Resolution approving the appointments of members to the city's Hispanic Heritage Advisory Board. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. A motion was made by Vice Chair Woerman, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be held. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairman Bugg adjourned the meeting at 4:27 PM.
