Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER Chairman Bugg called the meeting to order at 3:01 PM. Vice Chair Ron Woerman requested permission to participate remotely per section 2-80 based on a reasonable anticipation of an extended illness. ROLL CALL Vice Chair Ron Woerman was present via audio conference, Present: 5 - Chairperson Edward Bugg, Vice Chair Ron Woerman, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderman Emmanuel Llamas APPROVAL OF MINUTES 22-0008 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration and Procedures Committee meeting held on January 4, 2022 . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final January 18, 2022 Procedure 22-0003 An Ordinance Amending Sections 6-2, 6-4, 6-10, 6-13 and 6-28 of Chapter 6 - Alcoholic Liquor, of the Code of Ordinances . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0021 A Resolution approving the appointment of members to the Aurora Youth Council. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0022 A Resolution approving the appointment of members representing Aurora to the Aurora Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Board (AACVB). A motion was made by Alderman Donnell, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0023 A Resolution Approving the Appointments of the Members of the city's Administrative Boards including the Building Code Board of Appeals; Fire Code Board of Appeals; and the Permanent Building & Fire Code Committee. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0017 A Resolution authorizing the 2022 Ward Neighborhood Clean-Up and Shred Events in all Wards in the City of Aurora. This Resolution was walked on by the Office of Aldermen's Chief of Staff Rich Jacobs. The Resolution was discussed and forwarded to COW under New Business. HELD 21-0839 An Ordinance amending Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to the licensure of retailers engaged in the business of selling certain vapor and alternate tobacco and nicotine products . The motion carried. Chairman Bugg adjourned the meeting at 4:01 PM.
