Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER Vice Chair Ron Woerman called the meeting to order at 3:03 PM. Chairman Bugg requested permission to participate remotely per section 2-80 based on a reasonable anticipation of an extended illness. ROLL CALL Chairman Bugg was present via audio conference. Present: 5 - Chairperson Edward Bugg, Vice Chair Ron Woerman, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderman Emmanuel Llamas APPROVAL OF MINUTES 22-0040 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration and Procedures Committee meeting held on January 18, 2022 . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final February 1, 2022 Procedure 22-0070 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 41.5, entitled Special Events, to the Aurora Code of Ordinances . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0060 A Resolution approving the appointment of members to the Aurora Youth Council. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0061 A Resolution approving the appointment of Dan Hoffman to the Retiree Health Insurance Trust Fund Board . A motion was made by Alderman Donnell, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0063 A Resolution approving the appointment of a member to the city's Human Relations Commission. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0080 A Resolution approving the appointment of members representing Aurora to the Aurora Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Board (AACVB). A motion was made by Alderman Donnell, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0078 Boards, Commissions and Councils Update This Reports/Studies was discussed. HELD 21-0839 An Ordinance amending Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to the licensure of retailers engaged in the business of selling certain vapor and alternate tobacco and nicotine products . The motion carried. Vice Chair Ron Woerman adjourned the meeting at 3:43 PM.
