ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Edward Bugg, Vice Chair Ron Woerman, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderman Emmanuel Llamas APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0327 Approval of the minutes for the Rules, Administration and Procedure Committee meeting held on April 18, 2023 . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final May 2, 2023 Procedure 23-0266 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 36, Sec. 36-26 of the Code of Ordinances Pertaining to the rank of Commander at the Police Department. Deb Lang, Legal Department; Lt. Bill Rowley, APD A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 23-0340 A Resolution approving the appointment of Kathryn Gozum to the Mayor's Sustainable Aurora Advisory Board . Alex Voigt, Mayor's Office A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Bugg adjourned the meeting at 3:09 PM.
