ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Ron Woerman, Vice Chair Emmanuel Llamas, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderwoman Patty Smith APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0563 Approval of the minutes for the Rules, Administration and Procedure Committee meeting held on July 18, 2023 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Llamas, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final August 1, 2023 Procedure 23-0587 An Ordinance amending Sec. 2-125 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to meetings of the standing committees of the City Council. Deb Lang, Legal Department A motion was made by Alderman Bugg to amend the Ordinance, no second, Motion Denied. A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 Nayes: 1 23-0593 Discussion of upcoming proposed changes to Chapter 32, "Peddlers and Solicitors" of the Code of Ordinances. Jennifer Stallings, City Clerk; Deb Lang, Legal Department This Reports/Studies was discussed. Alderman Edward J. Bugg left the meeting at 3:05 PM. CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Llamas, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 3:23 PM.
