ROLL CALL Vice Chair Emmanuel Llamas joined the meeting at 3:44 PM Present: 5 - Chairperson Ron Woerman, Vice Chair Emmanuel Llamas, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderwoman Patty Smith APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0677 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration and Procedure Committee meeting held on August 15, 2023 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Jennifer Stallings, City Clerk; Deb Lang, Legal Department A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 23-0654 A Resolution approving the appointments of Caroline Escobedo, Jensen Coonradt, and Britany Chavarria to the Aurora Youth Council . Nydia Molina, Legal Department; Investigator Meyers, APD; Investigator Salinas, APD A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 23-0710 An Ordinance amending Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to the licensure of retailers authorized to sell all tobacco, nicotine, alternative nicotine products or vape products . Alex Voigt, Mayor's Office A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 23-0597 The disclosure of economic interests and outside employment by officers and employees under City Ordinance .
