ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Ron Woerman, Vice Chair Emmanuel Llamas, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderwoman Patty Smith APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0725 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration and Procedure Committee meeting held on September 5, 2023 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Llamas, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT None AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final September 19, 2023 Procedure 23-0597 An Ordinance amending Sections 2-184 and 2-185 of the Code of Ordinances Pertaining to Outside Occupations and the Disclosure of Economic Interests and Campaign Contributions . Rick Veenstra, Law Department A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 23-0721 An Ordinance amending Chapter 41.5 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to special events . Rick Veenstra, Law Department This Ordinance was held 23-0701 A Resolution approving the appointments of Susana Rivera-Mills, Lindsay Cochrane, Andalib Khelghati, Thomas Kim, Rosaisela Sida, and Evan Glazer to the Education Commission . Alex Voigt, Mayor's Office A motion was made by Vice Chair Llamas, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderwoman Smith, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Woerman adjourned the meeting at 3:51 PM.
