Bugg Alderman Carl Franco Alderwoman Patty Smith Members of the public wishing to provide public comment for this meeting must be physically present at the meeting and registered to speak prior to the meeting being called to order. Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER Chairman Woerman called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith and seconded by Alderman Franco to allow Vice Chair Emmanuel Llamas, to participate in this meeting remotely per section 2-80. The motion carried by voice vote 4 - 0 and Vice Chair Llamas was allowed to participate in the meeting remotely via audio conference. ROLL CALL Vice Chair Emmanuel Llamas was present via audio conference. Present: 5 - Chairperson Ron Woerman, Vice Chair Emmanuel Llamas, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderwoman Patty Smith APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0998 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration and Procedure Committee meeting held on December 5, 2023 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT None City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final January 2, 2024 Procedure AGENDA 23-1048 A Resolution To Endorse the Legislative Action Program of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference for the 2024 Legislative Session. Alex Voigt, Mayor's Office A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 23-1057 Committee update on tobacco license compliance checks. Alex Voigt, Mayor's Office This Reports/Studies was discussed and filed 23-0987 Recommendation to approve an Aldermanic Aide for the Office of Aldermen. Rich Jacobs, Chief of Staff Aldermen's Office This Recommendation was discussed and filed CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be adjourned. The motion carried.
